  • Toxic and controlling step father

I'm not quite sure how to begin this... a man who considers himself to be my stepfather when all I realistically see him as my mums stupid parter has been living with us for 3 years now and during that time he's started more fights and pointless arguments with me (a minor) and my mum than I can remember ever having at school, some of the arguments can range from him being drunk and annoying my mum then getting aggressive towards me when I try and split them up as I don't want mum to go through this stuff over and over again, no matter how calm I am he always starts a fight by threatening me or physically holding or attempting to hit me as he has a few times before, most of these incidents were when he was drunk but a few were when he just became aggressive towards me out of nowhere, he seems to find it funny whenever I criticise him and mention the fact that he's a 41 year old man and he's trying to fight me who is 16 and continues to laugh when I tell him he's the reason I self harmed on multiple occasions I really dont know what to do about this entire situation
