I want to move out and I'm thirteen.

My dad keeps emotionally abusing me and saying that he can't wait till I get sent to a mental asylum, that I should just love out the house etc. Sometimes he physically abuses me, but that has now calmed down except from the occasional times like when he poured nearly boiling water over me about a month ago. I've left home today and I'm just sleeping next to a shop. Some friends said that them and their parents would be happy to take me in. It's there a way this could happen if there is no longer much physical abuse from my father? If not, what services can I get to help me. I don't have any money or food, but I might be able to get some from my friends. Can my parents force me to come back home? If I do go back, I am petrified of what my dad would do to me. Please help.

Pouring nearly boiling water and other forms of physical abuse are not OK at all. If you are with your friends, their parents should call you state's child abuse hotline. They are the correct agency to help you in this situation.
