  • Toxic & Odd Family Conditions

hi i’m a 14 year old girl, who’s living in a household that isn’t great for my mental health, the only way i get away from the seemingly toxic household is when i’m at school or my parents aren’t home. my mom and dad split up a few years ago but they’re the best of friends. which can get annoying sometimes. because they’re ALWAYS telling each other my business. lots of parents have different views but i’ve been getting hit as a punishment since i was little. it’s stopped happening since i’m getting older . but my two year old little sister does face the consequences. it’s always ‘we do it because we love you’ but it doesn’t see, like they do. i always feel like my parents have favorites and especially my dad. he doesn’t show me the kind of love he does to my little sister who isn’t even her dad, i have a few online friends and one of them i’m really close with, i know he isn’t some old man ! lol. we’ve talked a lot and we’ve grown a liking to each other. but we don’t like labels and i know how dangerous people online could be. i’ve dealt with depression and when my mom found out i was suicidal. i went to a therapist for a few weeks and that was about it.. when leaving the doctors upon finding out i was suicidal she said ‘ i’m not going to go any easier on you, just know that.’ it really stuck to me and it doesn’t seem like anything you should tell your daughter who’s been suicidal her entire teenage life.. some things happened a while ago and now my phone has some parental app on it and gets turned of at 10 pm. i don’t want to text NRS because my parents can easily see my text messages. thought i know they don’t do that a lot. it could happen. i have an email i can use but i don’t think the houses i’m living in are helping with my mental health. a few years back, i came up to my dad and told him how i was feeling depressed. and he laughed in my face. later of course. telling my mom how i was making up excuses. i don’t want to leave my school, i love the people there and i love my friends. but i want to leave my house. and my dad has been doing this since before i was alive but he walks around the house naked with his
