Hi there,
Thank you for writing to us here at National Runaway Safeline (NRS). We understand it takes great courage to reach out, and we appreciate you sharing a little bit about what’s going on. It sounds like you’re quite overwhelmed by things at home right now. Dealing with anxiety and depression is tough as it is, and not having a very supportive environment can only make it that much harder. Although therapy and counseling would be ideal, it can be difficult to find a right fit and it can be expensive. NAMI might be a helpful resource until you are able to find some support, NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness. is a free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals and support to people living with a mental health conditions, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public. HelpLine staff and volunteers are experienced, well-trained and able to provide guidance. You can reach them through call or chat at 1-800-950-NAMI (6264) or Nami.org.
Often, having a safe space to share how you’re feeling may bring a variety of solutions previously not thought of. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. This may be an isolating and lonely time for you, but you are not alone in this. We want you to know that we are here as support to help you through this challenging time.
If you would like to talk more in detail please call or chat soon. Our contact information is 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929); www.1800runaway.org (click on the chat button).
We hope to hear from you soon.
Be safe and stay strong,
NRS

I want to run away so that i don't kill myself because of my mom
Please. my mother raises my stress, anxiety, and depression levels constantly
and the only way to stop it and not attempt again is to run away from her.
She knows about it because she gives me no personal space or freedom.
I cant go anywhere because I know she will find me.
What am i supposed to do?Tags: None
