    Hi!

Thanks for reaching out to NRS. We appreciate you reaching out, it is very brave of you to share what is going on. What you are dealing with at home sounds really hard, and know that you should not have to endure any emotional or physical abuse, or feel unsafe in your home.
If you have any trusted adults who you feel comfortable talking to (school counselor, teacher, family member, friend) they might be a good place to go to help you come up with a good plan going forward.

If you decide you need to leave, there is an organization called National Safe Place that might be able to help you find a safe place to go. Text the word "safe" and your current address to 44357 or go to www.nationalsafeplace.org for more information.

One option to consider would be to make a report to child protective services. There is an organization called Child Help that can help you do this and give more information about how CPS might be able to help. You can contact Child Help at www.childhelp.org or 1-800-422-4453.

If you are in risk of danger, please reach out to 911.

If you would like to talk in more detail about how we can help you at NRS, or you would like to know about additional resources, please chat or call at 1-800-RUNAWAY or www.1800runaway.org.

Thank you again for reaching out. Good luck and be safe
Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
