okay my father tried to kill me he wanted me to go to a straight camp, nd i turned him down obviously but then it got phyical im in(Edited for anonymity.) ohio now but came from (Edited for anonymity.) ohio i have a friend here and she put me in a hotel ut only fo the night i dont knw what to do? i am 19 yo and trans what can i do i dont ave a job or anthing and i was raised in the suburbs and i dont knw how to survive on my own.help?

thanks for posting. We are very sorry and concerned about your situation.
It sounds like you have had a very traumatic time with your father's behavior towards you.
we hope it is of some comfort to you that your friend stepped in to help you out for the night. You said you are not from the town you're in and you're worried about how you're going to provide for yourself. Do you have anyone other then your friend you can call for support?
Would you consider staying at a shelter or contacting social services in the area for emergency housing? How do you feel about giving us a call at our 1-800-Runaway 24hr Hotline? We can discuss your situation and look for referrals with you.
