I think my stepmom does not like me... she wants me to call her mom but shes really mean. She talks about me behind my back to my father and calls me a spoiled brat in front of my brother, and my brother tries to copy and joins in. She also says that I want too many things like going to my friends house. She wont drive me anywhere but she will drive my brothers anywhere they want... and she gets really mad when I go to my grandmas house. She makes comments that Im not even apart of the family because I am at my grandmas and she says mean comments about everything. I cry almost every night and she acts like im stupid and really rude... I want to live with my grandma but I am scared becauseI love my brothers and my stepmom is pregnant. My real mom is out of the picture but I am 14, what do I do??????

Hello,
Thanks for contacting the National Runaway Safeline.
Family transitions can be very difficult and it sounds like it has been pretty hard for you and your stepmom to get along. One option might be to try and talk with your father about your feelings. Perhaps he would be willing to talk with your stepmother. About the way she communicates with you.
Another option that might help the situation might be to look into family counseling.
This may be a way of establishing some coping skills and learning better communication tools for you and your stepmother.
It also sounds like you stay with your grandmother often maybe talking with her may give you a feeling of support.
NRS is here to listen and here to help. Please contact 1-800-Runaway (786-2929) or www.1800Runaway.org to share your views on what you would like to see happen with your situation.
You did a wonderful job reaching out tonight.
