Hi, I'm 20 years old and currently living with my mom. I do not have a job and currently full time college student. I am a transgender woman attempting transition but face push back from my mom about it. I can't take the arguing anymore and I want to move in with a friend from college. I don't have much money, my insurance is paid by my mom, and have little skills to live on my own, but I can't take it anymore.

As for moving in with a friend, at twenty, it doesn’t sound like anything is stopping you in a legal sense. But it does sound like you might face some challenges when it comes to your finances.
