Re: 10 y/o girl thinking about leaving
Hello,
Often, youth may reach out to NRS in several different ways to discuss their situation. If a response from NRS is not visible to a bulletin posting it may be that we have already provided services to that individual through another platform we provide such as email, our crisis hotline, or our live chat service (in operation every day from 4:30p to 11:30p CST). NRS encourages anyone in need of assistance to contact us through our 24 hour crisis hotline at 1-800-RUNAWAY to receive immediate support.
Thank you, NRS

10 y/o girl thinking about leaving
I am a ten year old girl and am thinking about running away. I am academically advanced (eigth grade math and twelfth grade reading), but have problems with
aggressive/defiant behavior. It is extremely hard to tolerate my life and sometimes I feel fundamentally different, as if I was supposed to be born in a
fantastical world. I live in the suburbs, maybe an hour away from DC, and think my life might be better if I just separated myself. However, almost all runaway
info seems to be for older teens. Should I leave? If I should, how should I do it at ten?Tags: None
