Hi I am 15 and live in new jersey

I am adopted and live only with my adopted mom she verbally abuses me and is constantly telling me I am grown so I can leave my house but she says once I leave I can’t come back I want to runaway to a friends house but I don’t want to get her and her family in trouble. But if my mom told me to get out of the house is there any legal issues with that will get that family in trouble?
