Hello there, thank you so much for reaching out. It sounds like you are going through such a hard time at home. You do not deserve to be hurt in any way, and we are so sorry you are going through this.

Have you thought about reporting your parents to child protective services for beating you? We can help you file a report if you would like – please call us at 1-800-RUNAWAY if you would like assistance with that. Also, you might try to contact Child Help USA 1-800-422-4453, they are child advocates who are experts on reporting. They can tell you more about what reporting might look like in your case.

You mentioned wanting to kill yourself and your parents. Those sound like incredibly hard feelings to cope with and you do not have to go through this alone. If you feel like you are in immediate danger or a threat to others you can call 911. If you would like to talk about these feelings you can call us at 1-800-RUNAWAY or the Nationals Suicide Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK. We are always here for you 24/7 and we want to see you through this. If you are interested in local counseling resources, if you call or chat us we can look for some in your area.

You also mentioned being unsure about going to a shelter. We can look for shelter resources for you if you would like. We can also talk through your situation and brainstorm your options with you if you call in. We want to help you as best we can.

We look forward to hearing from you.

    Best of luck,

    NRS
