    Re: lost and broken

We are glad you wrote to us. It really sounds like you are facing difficult times. It is important that you know that you are not alone; there are resources that exist to listen and support you emotionally as well as with other needs. Along with these resources, which vary depending on where you live, you will be able to handle this situation. It may be a challenging time for you, but you can handle this.

You will undoubtedly have to face many tough decisions. It is important that you consider those options.

Below you will find 2 websites that will offer you some options to consider, please know that if you are feeling heavy weighing these options that you can call us. You can call us to discuss any feelings, thoughts or choices you are experiencing 24 hours/day, 365 days/year.

Websites to look through: (scroll through the home page of this website; you will find at the very bottom “Resources for Difficult Decisions.” Again, you can call us anytime, but there are other resources to help you, as well.) (financial resources)

While going through these websites, we recommend making a list of things to do, that can help you feel like you have some organization and control over the situation; it can make things feel more manageable (even though it may be a long list!). Then, take your time, and also, take one thing at a time.

We are sorry to hear that your family and your boyfriend’s family are not offering support; that is unfortunate. You are not alone, though, even without their support. You can make good decisions for you and your baby. We (and other resources) can help you.

    Stay Strong. Be Well.

Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
