It sounds like you’re going through a lot. We want to commend you for how you’re holding up—dealing with a bipolar parent is a lot for anyone to deal with. It sounds like you like live with your dad and sisters, you could try talking to your dad about the situation and how you feel.

Unfortunately we do not keep any boarding schools in our database, however if that’s something that you’re interested in, we’re sure that you can find resources on the internet. If you were to find a boarding school, they are usually quite expensive and you would need parental consent to go there anyway. Generally, the resources that we provide consist of shelters for runaway/ homeless youth (which usually also require parental consent), and an array of counseling or legal resources. my mom is bipolar and has spent a lot of time in the hospital and had an affair and i really can't stand to be around her. I enjoy just living with my dad and sisters (well in out patient she's living with her father as child protective services won't let her live here. However, my father wants her to move back in and not get a divorce. I do not wanna run away but I can't live with her she makes me very upset and stressed out and has ruined my life. I was wondering if there are any alternative options as I don't plan to run away. Maybe a scholarship to a boarding school or another not expensive solution? Thank you in advance please let me know if you have any ideas
