Sister wants to live with me

I left when i was 17 and moved in with my boyfriend and his family but i had my mothers permission. My sister is tired of my father and doesnt want to live with my mother , she wants to live with me . i am 19 and the people i live with can support her . shes 15 and lives in a different state. I live in michigan she lives in south carolima. I was wondering if she wanted to live with me what would i have to do to make it happen.

Because your sister is a minor if she left without permission, her legal guardian does have the right to file a runaway report. If the police do find her they most likely would bring her back home. One option you could consider is talking with your mom and seeing if your mother would give permission for your sister to live with you. Another option you could consider is emancipation, which would grant your sister adult rights before turning 18.
