re: 22 year old being manipulated with student loans
Hi,
You seem to be going through a tough situation at school, and you are feeling that your parents are listening to what you need. That must be really stressful for you to deal with on top of school, especially if your financial situation has changed. You mentioned that you are 22, so if you leave it isn't considered running away since you are a legal adult. The consequences with your parents could change though if you are living at home while attending college. It may be helpful to talk with your financial aid office at school just to see if there are any options that you have financially. Hopefully they can give you any other tips.
Best of luck to you,
NRS

22 Year old being manipulated with student loans
Hello.
My parents had been paying for my education until today. I wasn't able to finish my classes this semester because I've been depressed and suicidal for months.
They refuse to believe that anything is wrong and keep telling me that "everyone has anxiety" and I should get over it, or they'll put me in a mental
institution and leave me there alone. I don't know what to do. I feel like running away is my only option if they're going to push me like this. They're trying
to take away my car and all my belongings if I don't change schools and do exactly as they say.
Any advice is welcome, even just opinions of what's going on.Tags: None
