  • Abusive family

I’m 15 years old I’ll be 16 in a few months and I’m afraid of my mom she has threatened to kill me multiple times and my father does nothing but stand and watch. She’s even threatened me in front of other people. My brother also tried to kill me about 2 years ago but got away with it. My parents have always been harder on me than my older brothers. I’ve looked into getting emancipated once I turn 16 but I’d need a legal guardian to help me and no one believes me. I have not been formally diagnosed with depression but I feel depressed all the time because my parents try to turn me into a picture perfect poster teen for other people. I’m also afraid to come out as bisexual to them because of their extreme homophobia. The reason they try to make me the picture perfect poster teen is for the church they have been forcing me to go to. My parents even took me out of public school because I tried to get help for the psychological abuse that the school started to notice after I was sexually assaulted in fifth grade. I don’t trust people at the church they force me to go to either because the boy who sexually assaulted me was the children’s pastors son from a church we used to go to. I have been suicidal in the past and have hurt myself in the past.
