My friend is in a mental abusive home

My friend has expired some recent (that I know of) mental and emotional abuse in her home. She lives with her guardian( grandma ) she has told me how her grandma called the cops on her and lied to the cops about what she did, and now my first is trying to leave and go stay with her sister but her grandma refuses to let her leave. Is there anything I can to or advice I can give her?
