Should I date behind my Jehovah Witnesses parents back? I am 16 in 2 weeks

My parents are super strict and I like this guy (not in the faith) should I go and date behind their back. I was told by someone that if I don't tell them I am just setting boundaries with them. I am 15 almost 16 in 2 weeks.
