  • I cant live here anymore

Getting new bruises everyday. Being mentally and emotionally abused and all that ******** is making me give up on life now. I cannot live with my parents 13...but...they have done just so much damage to me. I will rather be adopted than live here with these people. I just cannot. I want to jump off a building. They body shame me. They call me names. They beat the hell out of me. No matter what or where. Even in public places. They've had counsuling about parenting issues but still. They continue this ******** as a daily routine. I am not allowed to breath, sleep, eat or do anything in my own house. I just want to be taken away from this Family and this Country.

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us here at the National Runaway Safeline. It sounds like you are going through an extremely difficult time at home and you’re not in a safe place. We want you to know that you are being strong for reaching out, and we are so sorry to hear that you are being mistreated and abused. You should be able to feel safe and respected in your home, and you have the right to file an abuse report if that is something you want to do. The National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-422-4453) can help you make a report.

We are here to support you during this time. Also, sometimes it is helpful to talk to someone about everything going on. Is there an adult you trust, such as a school counselor, teacher, or other family member, that you have talked to about what is going on at home? Sometimes Child Protective Services can also help you after filing a report to find a safer place for you to stay.

It sounds like you are dealing with a lot at home, and it is overwhelming you. We want you to stay safe and know that there are options for you. If you ever feel too overwhelmed, please reach out to the national Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 to talk through what is going on. No one deserved to be treated in that way, and we want you to know that we are here for you.

If you want to talk in more detail, please call us at 1-800-786-2929.
Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
