Wanting to runaway

I'm 17 and I wanna runaway I'll be 18 in July and I just feel like no one cares about me and they just don't understand me I'm always getting yelled at I try to do my best as I can at anything and nope it's just not good enough and im an emotional person and I just feel so useless I wanna runaway with a friend that's legal and I would transfer schools to finish my schooling and I'll get a job I just don't know what to do or think right now.

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you’re in a tough spot right now and it must be difficult feeling like no one cares about you at home. You deserve to be in a supportive and loving environment. Since you are still a minor, your family would have the right to file a runaway report and if the police are able to find you they may return you home. That being said, it’s possible that your local police would not pursue you because you are becoming a legal adult in a little over a month (though we can’t say for sure because we are not legal experts). Another option is to call your local non-emergency police line to ask about their policies anonymously.
