    re: runaway

    Hello,

thank you for reaching out to us. You are brave in doing so. Your situation sounds tough to deal with. Constant arguing and name calling from your family must be challenging to deal with so your hopelessness is very understanding. Sounds like you are taking matters in your own hands and trying to think about your well-being.

Being homeless can be a struggling situation since you need to think about a safe place to stay and having your basic needs met. There may be shelters in your area to be sure you have all these needs met and possibly further resources for you to use. If this is not an option for you there are safe places like 24-hour places like McDonald’s, bus stations, fire stations and also churches in your area for a few examples. If you would like to get connected of any places like these and would like to speak with us further please call us at 1-800-RUNAWAY or you can also reach us at chat through our website (www.1800runaway.org) from 4.30pm-11.30pm central time.

Again we are really glad you have reached out to us. It takes a lot to open up to someone and we are happy you have with us. If you will like to talk further about your situation please do not hesitate to call or chat with us. We’re here to listen and help.
