RE: Where do I start
Hi there,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us. It sounds like things are really tough and have been for awhile. It sounds like there has been a lot going on at home and you’re looking for some help navigating your options. We’re here to support you as much as we can.
You shared that your mom passed away when you were 11. This had to have been so hard on you and your family, and continues to be a difficult thing to have experienced and live with. We are so sorry for your loss. Losing anyone is hard, especially a parent. You mentioned that you have thought about suicide. This is a really serious thing to be thinking about. We’d like to provide the National Suicide Hotline at (800) 273 TALK (8255) if you would like to talk through these feelings with a counselor. We want to make sure that you have access to the support that you may need.
Another option you might consider is counseling. You talked about suicidal thoughts as well as eating disorders. This is a lot to handle all on your own. If you would like resources to counseling services, you can call us any time and we can try to locate some near you that would be free or low cost. Another resource that may be beneficial would be The National Eating Disorders Association at (800) 931 2237, or chat with them through this link: http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.o...erral-helpline
It sounds like there is so much going on at home and in your life and you are feeling really overwhelmed. Your feelings are entirely understandable and valid. We’re here to support you the best that we can, in any way that we can.
Please do not hesitate to call or chat with us to talk more.
Best of luck,
