Hello, thank you for taking the time to talk to us here at the National Runaway Safeline. It sounds like you have the plan to help a friend move out of their toxic home. You mentioned that you are concerned that this move might turn violent. We want you to know that since your friend is 20 they should be able to move out on their own without fear. If this is still something that you are concerned about one thing you can do is call the police and have them escort you out of the home.
It sounds like your heart is in the right place and we hope that everything goes well. If you need any additional support, you can give us a call anytime. 1-800-786-2929

    Friend Wants to Leave Unnoticed

I've got a friend (20) who wants to leave her house. I (also 20, with the assistance of a brother in law, 30) will be helping her move out in a week or so, but we have to do it at night, and without her mother finding out, or she literally may get beat and I might end up shot (they have a gun on the farm and her mother is afraid of intruders). So what's the best way to get out of the house without attracting attention?
I tried to post this yesterday but it didn't seem to actually go up, so I'm posting it again. Apologies if it's now a duplicate.
    Thanks.
