I'm 22. I clean the house I cook for them, I have online selling so I will not demand money from them. But My dad changed his behavior last January, he is now unemployed because he keeps lying about his health. Then for the past weeks
he keeps giving malicious acts to me. I already told mom about that but she didn't care even if she saw it too.
I want to run away from my parents house too. I don't have any siblings. Please rescue me or pls suggest any safe place I can go to.

Could they actually help even if this is for US? my parents are traditional chinese. It speaks for itself. They treat us like maids, the verbal, mental abuse i just cant anymore. The only way i see getting out of here is death and they cant seem to die either. The only way i can imagine to get away is by hanging myself. I cant stand ot here. They control yoyr income, your movements everything. I tried to be good for them but it is never enough and i am hust tired.

Thank you for reaching out to us at National Runaway Safeline. We know that it isn’t always easy to ask for help and we appreciate you sharing a bit of your story with us.

The National Runaway Safeline is located in the United States of America (USA), so we unfortunately can’t be of much help for situations outside of our country. Our knowledge is limited to laws and resources within the USA. You can use this link to find a youth helpline in or around your country: https://www.childhelplineinternation...pline-network/.

It sounds like things are incredibly difficult at home. We’re so sorry to hear that you’ve been experiencing suicidal thoughts. Your life has value, and you shouldn’t have to prove your worth to your family. We hope that you can locate resources within your country that might better be able to assist you in this difficult time.

        Best of luck,

        National Runaway Safeline (NRS)
