Hey there,
It sounds like you are in a very hard situation and that you must be very scared to go home. You do not deserve to be treated that way, and your life is very valuable and worth living. It is amazing that you reached out to us and that you are trying to get some help, that shows how strong you are. We know that it is not easy to reach out for help, so that shows how resourceful and strong you are.
If you ever feel like you are going to hurt yourself, you can always call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 and they can help you work through those feelings. Some options that you have to help yourself further is that you could call Child Help, which is the National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-422-4453 and they can help give you some more information about child abuse or help you report any child abuse you have experienced. Another option is that you could try talking to a social worker whether that be at your school or one that you already see and tell them what is going on at home, and they might be able to help you figure out a course of action. You could also call us here at the National Runaway Safeline and we can help you talk through more options and try to answer any questions that you might have.
Again, it seems like you are being so strong and handling a really difficult situation in a very mature and responsible way. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 1-800-RUNAWAY, and we are here 24/7, 365 days a year and would be happy to help you as best we can.
Best of Luck,
NRSPlease remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
