    Re: My parents

    Hi,
thanks for taking the time to post and discuss what seems to be such an emotional situation at home. We are sorry to hear that you mom and dad are having difficulties that might lead to her leaving the home. Has there been any talk between the two of you about you staying and living with her? We understand how troubling it is for all family members going through the expectation of a separation. You're going into your senior year so it stands to reason how important this time is for you to share with your family and we hope your parents can come to an understanding about whats in your and they're best interest that will bring some calmness to the situation. We were just as sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. How have you been coping with it? Something like that must feel devastating. Have you talked with a counselor about your feelings on losing someone so close to you? Would family counseling be an option you might consider? Are there any other family, friends perhaps adult or your age you can talk to about how you are feeling? We have a national data base containg referrals for counseling if you are interested.
we are listing two such referrals.

You may also contact our 1-800 Runaway 24hr Hotline should you want to get more referrals for your area, talk and have someone to listen more about your situation at home or about the loss of your friend.
We hope that you will start to feel better and reach some common ground where you and your parents are concerned and that this your senior year is a good one.

    Take care,
