I just turned 16 and I really do need help. Things are not the same anymore at home. Now, my mom constantly screams at everyone. Just yesterday, she and I had a talk where she screamed at me for no reason. She doesn't even ask why. Mom just screams at me and I am done. So, she gave me two choices: show her that I am a part of this family or leave. I am honestly thinking of leaving her.

Thanks for contacting the National Runaway Safeline.

We appreciate you sharing a little bit about what’s going on.
Some situations can be disappointing and even upsetting thus making things uncertain about what to do or where to turn. It sounds like you are disappointed that your mother only form of communication is through screaming at you. Communication is important as are one’s feelings.
