We're so sorry to hear you're feeling this way. That sounds like such a difficult situation that you're in and we're really glad that you reached out to talk to us about it. Different states have different laws about runaways. If you feel comfortable providing us with the information for what state you're in, we could give you further information about this. That being said, if your parents are your legal guardians, they could file a runaway report with the local authorities if you were to leave. Additionally, if they knew where you went and they wanted to, they could press charges for harboring a runaway with whoever you do stay with. We hope that this information helps answer your questions. If you want to talk more about this or just need someone to listen and be there for you, we are here. We have a 24/7 confidential hotline where we all want to listen and help. We hope that you reach out whenever you're feeling this way or thinking about leaving as we would love to talk to you and help you however we can. Thank you again for reaching out and we wish you all the best.

I want to move in with my brother

Hi. I'm 14 almost 15 and I want to move in with my 21 year old brother. I feel like an outcast at home and I feel like I'm going insane. I feel like my parents only need me when they need something done. I feel like I ruined their lives. Is it legal to move in with him?
