I'm currently 16, and I've been contemplating whether or not I should run away for many years now. Suicide has always been in my head but I have morals. I'm not physically abused, but I am definitly emotionally abused and it's taken a toll on my grades, and my daily life at home. Some days I won't eat at all, some days I'll overeat until I throw up. I spend most of my day in my room laying down not doing my homework. My parents spoil me, but I don't care about the material things. They buy me a bunch of things but they treat me like a dog. They're unfair and they've even told me "I'm not their child" and that "I'm a disgrace." The worst part, is that I'm gay, and I know they won't take it well. I have to snoop around and my whole life at home is horrible. I'm only happy when I'm away from them. I'm just tired of dealing with unnecessary treatment, and I'm tired of having to hide who I really am. I don't want to sound arrogant or anything, but I deserve better. I just want to run away.
