    RE: What should i bring?

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. It sounds like you are planning to run away and you are worried about your pet. We understand that you must be in a really tough situation to consider running away. It sounds like you are concerned about taking your cat with you. Have you thought about what else you will need to take with you in order to stay safe? If you want to talk about your plan, we are here to listen and support you in any way that we can. Here are some questions you can ask yourself before you go:

    • What else can I do to improve my home situation before I leave?
    • What would make me stay at home?
    • How will I survive?
    • Is running away safe?
    • Who can I count on to help me?
    • Am I being realistic?
    • Have I given this enough thought?
    • What are my other options?
    • If I end up in trouble, who will I call?
    • When I return home, what will happen

If you are concerned about whether or not to take your cat, we can talk to you about your options. Our primary concern at NRS is your safety and well being. Do not hesitate to call. We are looking forward to hearing from you, and wish you the best of luck.
