  • My life is miserable in my life , i dont want to continue this way of life.

I cry myself to sleep every night , because I start thinking of my past , I start thinking of everything , everything that harms me I feel like there is no point in living. I wake up every morning with a pain in my heart because I know I have to get up every day just to go o school and there its a whole different world, everything changes , people around you become fake whores and big jerks nobody wants to sit with you ,because your 'not cool or popular , all you hear is people being judged because of how poor or rich they are ,if they are Goth or lesbians UGH! I cant I feel like everything I do is just being fake around them . All I wish is that , I can just finish my studies and finish high school and move on to my career. I have changed from that girl that never wears makeup to that girl who wears eyeliner, and slutty clothes, I don't want to be that type of person , but my plan is o just ignore them , after all after a couple o years people stop caring and begin to rush the learning they missed in a year. But I'm okay I think hahahhaha.

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your story. It sounds like you’re dealing with some really difficult things at school, and they’ve made you feel really sad and alone. It must be tough, feeling like you need to change yourself to fit in. We’re sorry to hear that it’s been so challenging.

No one deserves to feel so emotionally hurt by others. School should be a place where you feel safe. Have you told anyone about what you’re experiencing? Sometimes it helps to have someone to talk to, like friends, parents, or school counselors. Since you mentioned thinking of things that harm you, it might also help to know that To Write Love on Her Arms (http://www.twloha.org) provides resources for teens dealing with self-injury. If you’re feeling really unsafe, you can reach the National Suicide Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK, but if you’re just looking for help at school, websites like http://www.stopbullying.gov offer resources for teens dealing with social issues.

If you would like to talk more about your situation, you can contact our anonymous and confidential hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-RUNAWAY (1-800-786-292. We're here to support you through all of this. We have a live chat available at our website (http://www.1800runaway.org), as well. Our chatroom is open from 4:30 to 11:30 PM daily, CST.

    Good luck to you,

    NRS
Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
