This sort of treatment sounds abusive. How long has this been going on? Have you thought about telling anyone about what is going on? It sounds like home might not be a very safe place if your parents are hitting you with a belt and calling you names. How have you been dealing with this?

hi,
I know how u feel, this has been the 2nd yr i haven't been hit by a belt from my mom
but she still calls me names such as: good-for-noithing teenager, stupid, loser, pig lazy etc...
and i cant take it any more and im stuck, scared and afraid.

I m=came up w/ three choices:

1.commit suicide
2.run away
3.Deal w/ it

i really want help before anythiong bad happens

Thanks so much for writing in and sharing your story. It sounds like your dealing with a difficult situation as well. How long have you been dealing with this situation? You mentioned that it is your mom that is causing you all of this pain. Do you live with only your mom? Is there anyone else in the household? Have you been able to speak to anyone about this situation? A friend, another family member, school counselor? It’s understandable how this situation is making you feel. You mentioned a few options that you have thought about to deal with the situation. You said that committing suicide or running away were two of them. Have you ever attempted to do either or these? Are you currently feeling suicidal? It’s definitely a difficult situation and you should be proud of yourself for being open about talking about the situation. Are there other ways that you have thought about dealing with this situation? What kinds of things help you cope with what goes on at home? Do you think it would help if you were able to talk to someone about what is going on? Nobody deserves to feel scared and afraid in there home and you have every right to talk to somebody about the situation.
