  • Abusive and dysfunctional family.

For this thread I'm only going to get into a few things about my mother, yet I can go on about my family for hours. I'll try to keep it simple.

My mother had me when she was 19, she had a one night stand with a man after I was born, while her and my father were taking a break from their relationship. From the one night stand, she got pregnant and had my sister, and she only told my step father about this, she never told me, my sister, and as far as I know my father thinks he's the actual father of my sister.

This is only the beginning of the lies my mother has told to the family. When I was 13 I was living with my grandparents for a little bit and one day I got a bill in the mail, addressed to me, from this phone company I've never heard of, saying that I owed them $600+. Later I found out that my mother opened an account under my name from when I was a toddler to pay for a phone that she still hasn't paid but now hides the bills from me, probably so I won't confront her about it.

My family is terrible at communication, so I figure things out about my family long after they've occurred. For instance, my mother put a gun to my step father's head, she also packs a suitcase and leaves occasionally when she's angry with the family, a she's apparently been doing this my entire life. She drinks wine and beer, she smokes all of the time, and she emotionally abuses me. She gambles when she can, goes on shopping sprees for a relief of frustration, and gets angry when she can't spend money on herself.
