wanting to run away please help me with some awnsers

Ok well to start off I live with my dad and I no longer want to be here. Him and my stepmother mentally and emotionaly abuse me. I have talked to my mother numerous times about going to live with her, and she doesn't mind. Every time I tell my dad that I no longer want to live witg him that I want to go live with my real mother hebalways tells me I can't. I know I am of age to choose where I want to live now. I have tried to call the cops before but he took the phone away. I don't know what else to do I need some advice on what I can do because I no longer want to live here. For one because I get treated like crap and for two because my 18 year old ex lives woth me and I feel unsafe. Please help

There are many options we can discuss regarding your living arrangements but we need a little more information. If you are under 18 and want to live with your mother, it will most likely have to go through the courts because your father is still your legal guardian. Your mother could petition the courts for custody if your father is unwilling to let you live with her. If you could tell us your age and what city/state you live in we can give you more specific information in your area.
