RE: my mood is idk
Hello, and thanks for reaching out to us.
It sounds like you’re dealing with a lot of really stressful stuff. You state that you are 13, living with your mom, and she doesn’t treat you well. She is disrespectful to you, makes you watch her baby, never gives you any freedom, claims you never help out, threatens to beat you and send you to a boys ranch, and recently kicked you out and then called the cops on you.
This sounds very upsetting and scary. No one has the right to threaten you or call you names - that must be extremely painful to deal with.
Have you tried talking to anyone about this? Some people in your situation might turn an adult friend, a family member, a pastor, a counselor, a school counselor, or a teacher they trust. Do you know anyone like that?
You always have the option of calling us to talk. We are here 24 hours a day, every day, at 1-800-RUNAWAY (800-786-2929). Our goal is to make sure you are safe. We can provide support and resources, we never judge or discriminate, and we are here to help you figure out a plan to stay safe. You can also talk to us online from 4:30pm to 11:30pm (Central time), every day – just click the red button on the front page of www.1800RUNAWAY.org.
This is not an easy situation to deal with, and we’re glad you decided to contact us tonight. If you need us, don’t hesitate to call.
Good luck,
~NRSPlease remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
