desperate need of help!!!

hello i am new to this site. i am a 21yr old single mom to a 3 yr old live in 2 small rooms of moms unfinished basement allowed upstairs to use bathroom and to go outside only. she criticizes bout everything from my weight to my sons weight and how they think he should be doing more and how im not doing enough with/for him. i dont have a job nor vehicle and in desperate need if you can help please email me at [email taken out for confidentiality reasons] i cant find resources to help 21yr old single moms i do not go off my moms income for anything unless i have to. and she hates having to support us and can kick us out at any minute if she wanted to. my sons father is not in picture but i do get child support but its not enough to get a vehicle i already tried. my mom wont help me with anything. my mom and i do not get along and thinks im a bad mother and daughter/human being and that i dont do anything all day.

We are so glad that you were able to reach out to tell us a bit about your situation. It sounds like you are going through a lot at home right now and things have been pretty difficult for awhile. You mentioned that you are currently living in your mom’s home but she is not supportive, especially emotionally, of your situation. You also mentioned that while you are getting child support the father of your son is not involved and the child support payments are not enough so that you are able to get out on your own. It’s understandable how frustrating this must be, feeling like you want to become more independent for you and your son’s sake, but not getting any support to do so.
