  • needing aid

am living in a country where socially it's not acceptable for a person in my position to live alone.
i have done things if found out by my family, damage would be done to all parties, i need to escape this since it's seemingly the most apt way to get out with minimum damage and drama

i looked up my options, near by countries i can stay in for a while but i was reminded by all the laws and regulations, visa card and so... i don't know what i could do

    Hi,
Thank you for contacting the National Runaway Switchboard.
We are sorry to hear about what seems like a very troubling situation for you.
It sounds like there are some things you feel will be somewhat damaging for you and your family.
What other options can you try that might minimize the damage?
It sounds like you are very worried and we are sorry you are feeling that way.
Have you considered talking with any friends about this situation?
Would you be able to stay with a friend for a while? This might eliminate you problem with credentials.
We are limited as to what options to suggest with so little to go on.
Is it possible to call our 1-800-Runaway crisis hotline to discuss your situation more in depth?
One of our crisis liners would be very willing to listen to your situation.
We hope things take a turn for the better and that you decide to give us a call.
    Thanks again for contacting NRS.
    Take Care,
    NRS
Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
